I was wondering a lot of the same things about the Umbers turning over Rickon, with Davos up with Jon they needed another way to get him into the story again and not changing the actor gave us definite assurance that it is in fact Rickon and not someone pretending. Though I still think it is some kind of trap on

Yea, the mentions are in there for a reason… perhaps Arya returns to Westros as "no one" but runs across Nymeria somehow and is reminded of her roots and who she is? The connection to Nymeria has to not let her fully loose herself.

That is what I'm thinking, the Umbers are using them as some kind of trick and making a long play against Ramsay and Rickon and Osha are some kind of insurgent.. though as we know a lot of people underestimate how ruthless/terrible Ramsay really is

Right, I'm confused as to where this is going, because in the books isn't it Davos trying to get/rescue Rickon? That's how it ended right? Its an interesting change, I'm still apt to believe that its somehow a trick on Ramsay, though on the other hand if Rickon and Osha were in on it I'm surprised they would let

To the Rickon aging point, I think they needed to keep the same actor or else we would all be speculating that it was a trick and that is not the real Rickon. I'm personally not convinced that it isn't still a trick of some sort, aren't the Umbers super Start loyalists?
