It would be a bit ridiculous to suddenly introduce her at this point. They're having enough trouble dealing with the characters they've already got.

There are lots of guys who are into red-haired women, maybe The Hound is one of those. Since he's not gay I guess a red-haired man is not going to do much for him.

She's more likely to just think they're trophies, not that Arya is actually wearing them. They could have done a bit better job on them, though, they looked like the rubber they are - unless there's some magic at play, and I guess there must be, wouldn't they look kind of gross by now?

At this point no matter how Littlefinger goes out it's going to be disappointing - there's just no time to do anything cool. He just kind of fizzled out. Too bad. I guess maybe all his maneuvering was just bullshit like his ability to handle the kingdom's finances.

Yeah, who knows what Dany got a taste for among the Dothraki? We don't know what went on inside Mr. Drogo's "Play Tent."

The long legs of The Hound or Mormont would do better, then - despite their age. If Jon had planned ahead, though, he could have brought some ravens with them.

I'm talking about the writers, not the crew.

So what if he's younger? He's not, though, he's about the same age as Jon.

re: Gendry - yeah, I wondered about that too, especially since he wasn't even going to leave the giant 100 pound warhammer behind at first.

The Night King could have stripped down to his banana hammock, swum down there, reanimated the dragon, and let him haul himself out.

That's the only to look at it, especially with this season, but you still can't help noticing some of the more blatant laziness.

He's got a code, and he sticks to it. :-)

In that case maybe he should have brought a few extra spears, but he never thought he could miss I guess.

Yeah, nothing gets a chick wetter than having a guy totally submit to her…

Summer in the North is clearly not the same as summer in, say, Highgarden.

I guess not. I'm not sure how far north it's supposed to be, what it's equivalent to in the real world. If it's a tundra climate, even if they have summer (equivalent to say Nunavut) they wouldn't be able to grow anything.

Except the climate there is like what you'd find at the Arctic Circle, where it's cold enough that if you don't go out not only with a hat but your face covered, you'll get frostbite. (Snowblindness doesn't seem like it's a problem either.) If you fall into that icy water you're probably dead, too. Ranulph Fiennes

It's been thousands, hasn't it? I wonder how the Night King has passed the time. I wonder what he gets out of extinguishing all life. I could see doing all this if he just wanted the forest people to undo what they did to him, but it doesn't look like he cares about that.

It didn't seem like they had to exert themselves too much to kill the last of those druid kids. The Night King was probably kicking himself, thinking if he'd known it would be that much of a cakewalk he wouldn't have waited 8000 years.
