I disagree the writing is still far better. Writers haven't changed how they approach writing. The medium, Netflix, has decided to release it all at once. It's not an attempt to disguise "qualitative flaws."

repeating being in a relationship again, yes, but the depth of understanding who they are and why they continue to repeat the mistakes of their past is worth exploring.

I guess no one has had a toxic relationship or a co-dependent one? Do these type of relationships not have it's own redemption arc?
