Oh we are soooo on the same page about this. It was a good 10…11 minutes of wasted time then some other shit then that one song. It was painful to watch that knowing that there could have been a million other useful interactions to fill that time. Good grief I say!

It was just too damn long. Especially since it was literally never revisited again at all. That time could have been filled with more Lane! A set by Hep Alien! Missed opportunity!

Yeah those guys are human garbage.

Yeah, upon second viewing, the musical was actually really hilarious. The only saving grace of the Life & Death Brigade night/fever dream was the talking crow in the tree. That was hilarious. Other than that, I feel like that entire scene was a "fuck you" to the 99.9% of fans who hate those guys. It was so long. And

Right?! Wouldn't she be nearby in preparation for the next day? Just yet another way that Emily is left out of the mix. She should have been there for sure.

Exactly my thoughts. It's a bummer that this revival didn't wrap things up for Rory like it did for Lorelei and Emily. They both seemed to have come to some kind of happy place, letting go of the past just enough to move forward admitting their mistakes. Just a shame they didn't rub off on Rory enough. ::sigh::

Oh absolutely. I mean how else do you expect a woman to turn out when her entire life she is worshipped by a town! I think if they had to throw the 30-Something Gang in as a "joke", it would have been funnier if they all expressed their resentfulness towards Rory because they also grew up in Stars Hollow and watched

Yes! Absolutely. I mean, I actually don't get doing the quick pre-wedding wedding at all. I feel like Lorelei would want that one special day to share with the town and people she loves. Also it's kinda fucked up to do it without Emily there as well. But yeah, Luke had nobody there and that sucks. I loved and hated

Yes! Yes to all of this. I always hated how this show shoved Lane aside after season 2. Her character was so much more interesting to me than any other friend Rory ever made. Yes that includes Paris even though I love her as well. The Life & Death Brigade were always so very lame to me. Those guys in particular struck

That entire scene made me squirm more than I did for the Star Hollow musical scene. Those guys are all the absolute worst. They are just entitled douche bags that Rory partied with in college. Also the music and the outfits…c'mon guys. So lame. I would have much rather seen a montage of her and Lane and Paris going

My main takeaways from this revival:
