Just wish he would use his skills to make better art. Though maybe he really likes money and free vacations and hanging out with his buddies.

Certainly debatable. But listening to the 100 guitars on DYou Know What I Mean? is fucking bonkers. Thats like the first rush….
Fuck yeah! Behind the kitsch of it, the songs are strong. 90s U2 is my favorite U2
Still love that record. It encapsulates the sound of cocaine perfectly
Watched The Insider with Al Pacino and Russell Crowe in a theatre all by myself. Great flick and I smoked a cigarette in the theatre in honor of its subject.
Liam hopped on a plane with his band after playing in Germany to make this show….Noel? Well…he was busy? Doing something? Potato
That much is true…but the point is valid. Unfortunately we will never really know. I hope comfort finds his family and friends.
Getting off of them sucked terribly. It was so easy to take and enjoy them…thats what was so scary: Drs giving you drugs to get and keep you high.
As someone who was prescribed 180 Norcos a month for 6 months for a headache, I agree. I had to ask my neurologist to let me ween off of them. Its too easy to get access to drugs by some careless doctors who just want to throw pills at patients, especially incredibly addictive ones.
That is very true.
That makes sense, but speaking to a pharmacist I know they told me that they only use Narcan for opioid overdoses. Regardless, the whole situation is just incredibly sad and I feel for his family.
I guess my question is if he was hanging, or had strangled himself, what made them suspect and opioid overdose?
Ok. Why 4 shots of Narcan? Did they suspect overdose? One shot of Narcan will bring someone overdosing on an opiate back…this doesn't make sense at all.
It's perhaps THE greatest cocaine record. I think it's better than Morning Glory. Just fuckin HUGE sounding.
I think he feels like he has to prove himself. There's no band…its just him. After all his drama (illegitimate child, divorce, etc) I think he knows that this is his last chance to be a rock and roll star and not a nostalgia act. He played 8 new songs at his first gig and 4 Oasis ones. I think he's really confident in…
Right?!?! It seems the time off has done him good. Listening to his interviews he seems happy and…ummm…even a bit humble.
Ummm…could have been a disaster, but isn't. Nothing earth shattering about it, but his voice seems to be in better shape.
I'm intrigued to hear his new tunes. At his best he's a great rock and roll singer. Good on him for doing this….he definitely doesn't need the money. No snark here.
Just wow! I'm moved to tears.
"I'm here and now I'm gone
I'm there and far beyond
Nothing's gonna pinch this nerve of mine.
I wanna make it right"
I was just going to mention that I read the whole damn thing waiting for in depth analysis of the beloved Grand Prize Game…..still waiting.
