You lost me at "Too much effort to not be art"
Because that's nonsense. It's why we created the term "overworked"

As is so often the case with this show…
'Arrested Development' did it better.
Exactly! Even when Marcus hits back in revenge he only hits the soldiers and tries to leave the civilians out of it.
The pastor's family might technically be civilians but all he really wanted to do with them was blackmail. Not wonderful but nowhere close to the "scorched earth" policy that Pope followed.
We all get our jollies where we can…
Just start jerking off in the Parking Garage.
I promise the cops will show up in short order.
(I can't promise they'll be hot OR female… but they will show up.)
If we must have filler… attractive women getting fucked on the hoods of cop cars isn't the worst way we could go. This whole show reads like a weird parody of 1980's "bad-ass" wet-dreams… why not go full on White Snake?
I dunno… We have to remember that she's a junkie with a sadomasochistic paedophile for a (now dead ) husband.
A couple years of waking up next to that is bound to loosen up the definition of "Decent man"
I'm just having trouble taking any of the Son's foes seriously at this point. Part of the problem is there isn't much in the way of external threats that could really compare to the insanity the club has already dealt with over 6 seasons.
Maybe a better track would have been to accelerate all this nonsense into the…
The trouble with "D" territory is that they keep giving that rating to "Under the Dome" which needs to be a hard "F" all the way. Otherwise we look at anything else on TV and go "Yeah, this 'Breaking Bald' infomercial is terrible. But it's better than "Under the Dome" so… C+"
Yeah, it's a shame that I just finished enjoying "Fargo" on FX. After that, the failure of this show just seems that much worse.
Almost ALL of these stem from the idiotic choice to extend the show beyond one season. Doing it in one 12-16 episode arc wouldn't require the townspeople to act like they all have the memory of a goldfish. When you've got to stretch something into two seasons it's easy to forget that this whole story has been told…
I think you're giving ol' Gus pretty generous survival odds if you think he's going to be alive at the end.
Anyone else notice how it went right from Theon Greyjoy to Tyrion eating a sausage? Subtle…
So we should see "The Helium Bandit" introduced next week, just to keep things fresh?
Google says: Yes.
Why do I get the feeling someone, somewhere has already written the fan-fiction that plays out your scenario?
I think my issue is that none of the stories really mattered. Nothing that happened in this episode had any significance for any of the characters. Penny has quit her job at the CF, but that really won't impact the story much. That place was kind of an "Oh yeah" anyhow. Now we'll just see Penny AT the table. The money…
Yeah. I was willing to overlook the "Shoehorn my wife singing wherever possible" bit.
I was willing to overlook the "Reluctant Mass Murderer" routine.
I was even willing to overlook the "Biker gang with a better dental plan than most jobs I've worked." (Seriously. I've never seen a legit biker with 32 pearly whites.)
We never did get Katey Sagal doing "Thick as a Brick"
10 bucks says that's next season's finale.
