I think the series is more obvious than everyone thinks. Jeff straight up tells the dean in Repilot "Then stop being the dean."

I completely agree. I havent seen Zodiac but the unresolved ending worked for me.
Yeah I get what you're saying. My main moment that showcases his ideantity is the one where they shoot the commercial. In that one, he gets pretty bad, so I don't see it as that far off. But this season he seems to being doing it more out of desperation.
I think the entire series has emphasized that. The idea is that the Dean is just as messed up as the students. I actually was proud of him when he called out how inappropriate Jeff and Annie are, although it was probably just to mask his jealousy.
I think the reason why the latter is pursued more is because there is more raw sexual tension between Joel McHale and Alison Brie, which would actually not be that creepy, aside from the whole adultery thing. But I guess some people might find that creepy too. But from interviews that Joel and Alison, there…
For all those complaining about the unresolved ending, considering how they episode played out, they had to end it that way. Aside from the obvious homages and spoofs that came from the ending, Pierce's death was meant to shake up the episode. Investigations like this in shows in film and TV usually deal with life and…
I think they did that with the episode. That's what I took from it. That's why the mystery has to be unresolved. Because Pierce's life, and by extension all lives, are more important than this ACB stuff.
This was the funniest joke of the night for me.
I think it feels like a lack of emotion because the episode really just centered around Jeff and Annie, rather than entire group, with just a bit of the dean. Since in theory Jeff and Annie havent moved, it feels like very little emotion, but there really it is a lot there. The show is using beats from an established…
I don't watch any of those shows, but I get the lack of closure. They needed to not get the bandit so they could have that ending shot. In retrospect, the idea is that they have been focusing on such a small thing in relation to real matters of life and death (Pierce), so the identity of the bandit had to be…
I dont watch any of those shows or anything like that but I still loved the episode.
Since Professor Duncan wasnt the Ass Crack Bandit, did he just want to see Annie's ass crack?
To Pierce, may he Rest in Pierce.
I think the lack of a resolution sold the concept that it was parodying, as it allowed it to have that last moment where everyone was suspected. It also got that us that fun disclaimer end tag. For me, not catching the bandit was the right call.
Sorry to whoever I told that Pierce wasnt dead last week. I was wrong (technically, I think I said he didnt die in season 4).
I think it's pretty terrible that in Scandal both presidential candidates turned out to be evil assholes. And that they are both probably going to run again. We've been wrong about Scandal all along. It's all a ploy to get us to go third party.
I think I just need a reason for them to keep a secret, Just bringing him back from the dead when he wants to stay dead is not enough.
This is the episode I liked best since the pilot and the asgardian episode. Fitz and Simmons have grown as characters and Fitz as this determined guy is the best character so far. This episode suffers a bit because of its over reliance on Skye. Skye just isnt a relatable character just yet, although I did get a kick…
I agree. The weird part to me was that Winston doesnt really seem like an athlete. His sports background was always a poor fit. I think he should pursue a career completely out of sports, I just couldnt think of anything.
Craig Robinson's inherent likable made his role as the Pontiac Bandit work. You suspected it early on, but you didnt want it to be true. At least that was how it was for me. I was like. "Oh, it's good to see Darryl again." By the end of the episode, I was like "Oh yeah, Darryl was a dick sometimes."
