They're both great reads, but I prefer the second, if only because I find Elvis's final years to be the most interesting part of his career to read about at this point, given how well-covered his early years of stardom have been.

I actually think Collins looks much better than he did 30 years ago. He's like Ben Kingsley in Sexy Beast…kinda!

I find that cutesy-scary can be really scary at times. Context matters. If you took the outline of the Babadook on the cover of the movie poster, and hung it it a bright-lit children's classroom at Halloween, it would be harmless fun.

Raise your head high, D.D. Driver, there should be absolutely no guilt in loving Diggstown. A wonderful, wonderful film.

Introduced a young Jeff D. to the music of Jackie Wilson, so it's got that going for it.

Yeah, but wasn't the point of that article (and the sentiment of the posters in the accompanying comments page) that it was a bad thing to make Miss Marple into something so different?

Bond has a unique and established character. Him being a womanizing male is an essential aspect of what distinguishes Bond from, say, Jason Bourne or Ethan Hunt.

With Hannibal Lector it probably doesn't.* With Bond it does.

Truly, Roger Moore is history's greatest monster on account of this sentiment.

I think Fountainhead works much better as a source of a potential film adaptation than Atlas Shrugged. The latter might work, but there'd have to be a lot more fat cut.

On the plus side, I really liked the Donna character, and am pleased that there will be more adventures with her and the 10th Doctor.

Yes, and those two things belong to Belluci.

I respectfully disagree with your assessment.

Geez what is wrong with you people? You have a film with Monica Belluci as one of Dracula's brides, and you're pining for Winona Ryder?!!

Nineties was a great decade for guy's hair. Women wasn't as great as in the aughts, but an important transition from the horrific 1980s.

That was a terrible era of pro wrestling. Did not age well at all.

That's not what I'm criticizing. If you don't think a genre is enjoyable, that's fine. What's annoying is when someone states that they hate a genre, but then name-checks a "cool" exception, even if they really don't know anything about that musician either.

I hate when people say they hate country except for Cash and Nelson. Everyone I've ever met who made that statement only heard Cash's version of "Hurt," and maybe "Ring of Fire" and "Folsom City Blues." And all they know about Willie Nelson is that he smokes weed. But they are cool, safe people to like.

Yes, I suppose Hiddleston would have the edge on a 66-year old man in a fist fight.

You guys better be corresponding. This really needs to happen! Also, friendly piece of device — be sure to become close friends with the Rock…he might open some doors for you, on account of both the wrestling and HBO connection.
