I'll be honest, I don't want the show to spend enough time on him to redeem his slave owning, especially because i think that while it's very problematic, it's actually not the worst thing about his character.
This show is supposed to be about Kara, he should be around to prop up Kara's story, and not the other way

I think it's really ridiculous how they keep spending time on giving him storylines that either have been done by Kara already, or could be done by another character on the show much better.
Learning to be/turning to a superhero? Kara and James both did it, and much better too. Turning against his destructive culture?

god i hope you are right. They need to either kill him off, or send him off to the future. Kara's character will have zero development as long as he is around.

I would love to, personally :D But even if the relationship remains platonic, I am very happy to have Lena as a regular, as long as they don't fuck it up by making her the villain. (I would love for her to be a morally grey character but these writers have the subtlety of a tank, so that's not really a choice :D)

I LOVE the sanvers relationship, and both characters, but I have to say that unfortunately i disagree. They do not handle the relationship well at all. Alex's coming out, and them getting together was so well done, and maybe even the first one or two episodes of 2B, but ever since, it has been like they are going

hahahahahah :D

I agree with all of this, except the end:
"There’s definitely a place for Mon-El—and especially for Chris Wood’s charms—on Supergirl. But perhaps that place doesn’t have to be at the center of the series quite so often"
