I don't think that means that there won't be a season 3, just that he's not putting any time constraints on it. Considering it's Netflix I'm sure they're fine with him taking as much time as he needs.

I agree with you about this season maybe being the best one yet, but I have to disagree with you about A Dance With Dragons being the second best book in the series. Personally I didn't think it was much better than A Feast For Crows and the first three books are all better than the last two in my not so humble…
