It's funny because it's true:

The whole "we are all Negan"/"I am Negan" makes me suspect they mean it literally and there may be no Negan character. Maybe some sort of acronym/abbreviation? "New Generation"?

Daniel the pill trader mentioning the clear coat on his Hummer is as close as the writers can possibly come to admitting they modeled the guy after Fargo's clueless car salesman (pushing TruCoat). Including an almost perfect voice/speech pattern impression.
