The main issue I have seen people have with Danny is that he is a white kid. People in the show refuse to really take him seriously because he is a privileged white kid. Who cares if he has had a 15 year abusive struggle that he survived, he is terrible because he is a privileged white man. His struggle is real.

No, but can we at least have one non broken, well adjusted Vet on TV. A compassionate person who struggles with their PTSD but genuinely wants to help with out being a sociopath, a rapist, or so debilitaed by their struggle that they become a joke.

Now that we have gotten to the end. Jenji Kohan has a really skewed idea of vets. the Vets in Weeds were bad people, none of the vets in OITNB have been all that stable. We need a solid Vet inmate to make things better.

I loved this season, I did not love the evil Vet guards. They were scary, offensive and just down right evil. Maybe next season we can get a sympathetic inmate who happens to be a Vet and not a sociopath.
