But Turner was playing around with other people's films. Lucas has only changed (for better or worse) his own films. People may not like it (I wish he'd left them alone because I don't think the changes helped), but at least they were his own work.

    Good to know.

    Thanks. I missed/didn't recall that.

I've been watching Dr Who for a long time, back to the Classic series. I'm fine if they want to say that the Doctor is a male, that it's hard-wired into him or whatever. (And why not just say that?) I have never seen that a Time Lord can change genders. I know some people are using the Master as an example, but seems

My husband and I have been watching the Logan's Run TV series (because my husband likes that stuff). I think that the movie and/or TV series would be great material for remakes today. Special effects would be better, obviously. Also I think there could be good commentary on all kinds of things — youth worship,

Fairly sure the first one I bought was Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, "I Love Rock 'n Roll," on cassette. Followed closely by "Freeze-frame" by the J. Geils' Band on LP. There, I have dated myself.

I have to say, The Mavericks' version of "Doctor Feelgood" is great. It actually does something different with the song.

Saw this movie last night with my kids and it was great fun. I also think it will be even better on repeated viewings. Ben Kingsley was terrific with his voice as Snatcher, dragging out words in an effort to make them menacing, and moving on with his plans to fit in with the upper class even when it literally (sorry

I think as Jack said, he didn't feel it was any business of anyone else's, nor related to the case. And he's right, except with that information, the police might have dropped him down the suspect list, or if the truth had gotten out, there would have been no mob led by Nigel (who is really weird). That seems to be a
