You're confusing Mia W with Vikander, methinks.

Mia is certainly not a bad actress, but I would like to see her expand her horizons a bit more in future parts she takes. The issue is that her subtle acting style is not for everyone.

It would've been too easy to have the house sink into the ground at the end or someone kick the bucket by way of the clay harvester, and so on.
