Yeah, that's the incident I meant. I don't think she changed, but second-guessed herself after being overridden. She is mentally ill, knows it, and maybe realized that everybody thought her cold logic was too cold. (Though I agreed with her order in the first place)
Carrie very much would have let Saul die if Quinn hadn't vetoed her order to bomb the Taliban.
Turkey doesn't need to have capital punishment for Numan to get killed there after being deported. It could very well be that some criminal or political organization would go after him given the chance.
Quinn was a great character, but he lost a lot of points with me when he stopped Carrie from bombing Saul and the Afghan Taliban leader.
American rock kind of sucks if yo la tenfold is worth getting excited over.
I agree completely. The Brody story needed to end, but it went on and on.
This review is lame, and clearly written by somebody ignorant of the topic. People really are significantly more effective during a hypomanic phase. They are more determined and goal oriented, and are driven to work beyond their limits.
Ineffectual? She tracked the uncle down, and ordered taking the shot. That was the mission, and that's what she did. The plan failed because of Quinn and that drone pilot, who disobeyed orders.
Carrie was a great field agent. She had drive, strategic thinking, and intuition.
The poster isn't about season 4. It's about Carrie, who is a "stranger in a strange land." the land is incidental. The poster is about Carrie, and her job, and illness, and never fitting in (but still being competent).
Agreed. I'm sure she was thinking about how many problems it would solve, how really she could cover it up, etc. She.was viewing her life throughthe lens of her job. It's twisting her up.
You're underestimating the plan. Carrie became a highly visible and disgruntled CIA asset. She was an obvious target for wooing to become a defector, a la Snowden.
She's the smartest person in the room. You think she's driven by emotion, because it appears that she is rash. But all those "rash" actions were based on sound reasoning and her training as a counter terrorism agent.

I think the thing to understand about this site is that most of the major characters intrinsically opportunists.

Vulva or gtfo.
Except we'd rather size up and compare the merits of bushes and vulvas than breasts, but Hollywood does not give what we want either.
