Would it seriously be more natural if all of a sudden she were not on the show anymore? Because that seems to be the case with everyone else in shows on this list that I have seen (Betty Draper, Ryan Howard, Doug on Weeds, etc.) It would be really weird and jarring if Marie simply ceased to be a character anymore.
