Trump may have followers who seem to be really rabid and racist, but how many of them have ever offered and given him a hassle-free hosting gig of a high-profile, high-rated network TV show.

It IS rich. Very rich. It would be A LOT more credible if they acknowledged their utter hypocrisy and gutlessness in letting Trump, who had already very much confirmed his crudeness and offensiveness back then, host.

Not just hosting, but hosting unchallenged. Maybe they can get it back if they ever actually skewer themselves hard for agreeing to that. Until then, it is and should be pretty much dead.

Personally, I like the Carpenters' version at least as much as either of these.

Once more, some cosmic, interdimensional baddie or baddies has vastly underestimated the Doctor, to their (likely) extreme detriment.

McCarthy and Wiig may be good, but neither of them (nor McKinnon or Jones) is Bill Murray, which seems to be a large part of the doubt and consternation about this reboot.
