I cannot tell what would be worse:

I would have bet everything but 2000 (which is what the second place person would get). That way I'd have a chance with walking away with a lot more money, but still have that minimum amount so i'd feel at least some level of accomplishment when i played my second show.

I disagree with the title of the article. The episode wasn't pathetic, the performances were. The episode itself was actually delightfully captivating.

The faceless single dad goes into Flagg's past as a wondering nomad of anonymous malevolence. Add that to his smile, and I loved his performance.

I wish they had gone into his relationship with Natalie Portman in Beautiful Girls. Creepy in principle, but I love the way it was handled.

Anytime I see the words "Mick Garris" appear on my tv I know i'm in for a shitshow.

Only real miscast for me was Molly Ringwald as Frannie. I certainly agree Larry could have been better cast, but it never bothered me the way Ringwald did.

No one will see this, but I just started Season 3, and episode 1 is the story about Kevin going on vacation to the beach, and meeting a summer crush. As I do, I looked her up on IMDB, turns out she's had a very successful career in Porn.

A better argument would be about introducing a new line of genes into the world. If a single couple are the progenitors of the first new generation of people there is a much greater chance of genetic abnormalities than if that next generation has an extra mother. Even if the father is the same.

My guess is it won't pay off until the finale, which will probably just be a set up for next season.
