The girl playing Ethel looks like the Veronica from the original comic. She is so much better than the Veronica from the show or even the one in the parody. If they had had her as Veronica, and found somebody to actually look like Cherry Blossom oh, this. Parody would have rocked it!

Which completely and totally sucks. Especially since "The new 52" wasn't even around until the second season. The new 52 was the worst idea ever! And it does a huge discredit to fans when you incorporate that schtick into the live action shows. They should stick with the original.
