Disagree. She was the voice of reason during the negotiations with Jon and Tormund. She was also comic relief (in a scene where you would not expect it, no less… the fact it came from a woman made me appreciate it even more.)

Right? For a woman who had little formal acting experience before Girls, I was absolutely blown away by Lena's performance. Also, is it just me or does Hannah look really pretty in the AV club screen shot chosen for this episode?

Dude, grease burns can be pretty gnarly. And it was on her right (i.e., assumed dominant) hand, so getting help dressing it from Ray made sense. Adam offered to help because he noticed Ray botched it. I don't think that makes her a "child".

Shosh is by far the most redeemable character on this show with the most irredeemable voice (I imagine the juxtaposition is no accident).

Great episode, but daaamn…I don't think I've ever HATED a character more than Jessa after her scenes tonight. And the fact she took an (arguable well-earned) arm hit and replied with a face punch AND THEN told Hannah that she had gone "full-psycho" — no words. I don't think I can ever empathize with her character

I've lived in Iowa City for years…the Mennonite scene would NEVER happen. I have never even seen a Mennonite in Iowa City proper (they live in a small down just outside city limits, and would never be seen near campus.) It has actually pissed off most people I know who watch the show and are from here… We are one of
