Limitless turned out to be good?
Making time travel the main focus of a story that wasn't designed for it from the beginning will inevitably ruin it. Harry Potter isn't a time travel story, so it was smart to keep it in the background. It's like complaining that Dumbledore could have gotten a gun and shoot Voldemort. It's not that kind of story.
Elizabeth Moss is a Scientologist, so I'm going to take any reputation smearing of people around her with a grain of salt.
If I'm reading this correctly: the girls decide the songs, and they're more likely to pick songs during which they get showered with cash. That increased playtime attracts the attention of radio DJs, who are now more likely to play their song because it is "popular" in the club.
Well, how many X-Men have a lot of exploits away from the main team, and also have a large fan base? Other than Wolverine, who is pretty much done, outside of possible cameos, the only other one I can think of is Nightcrawler.
Embracing digital is not shortsighted, it's a matter of survival. I know Paramount, at least, has stopped sending film prints. Trashing the past, however, definitely is shortsighted.

I remember that, at one point, Abrams or one of the writers said that they would never do the Kahn story because it was too iconic.…
Well, there was a woman in the movie named Xenia Onatopp who loved to choke men with her thighs.
So, it has the same problem as Age of Ultron?
Same here, minus the rewatch.
Kurtzman is the producer, not the show runner. The same was true of Fringe, and that turned out well.
The name Star Trek doesn't guarantee money. In fact, it probably turns people off of the films, at least at the time Star Trek '09 came out. Nemesis made only $67 million, and almost killed the franchise, until Star Trek made $385 million.
Uh, what? Maybe you should look at some actual police videos, and you'll see that police draw and point their gun all the time at people who might be dangerous without actually shooting them. They do this because drawing a gun takes time.
Maybe it's just me, but I can't believe no one mentioned the cuddly Iron Giant turning into a mindless death robot.
Except for that frame story about the flood.
"Fuck McDonald's but there are a lot of meal options you can eat huge portions of three times a day every day for a month and wreck your health with too."
