Up had a bit of blood when the old dude concussed that one guy. I remember it being mildly shocking at the time.

I don't see how they were "hanged." If anything, their profile was raised by making a genuinely good theme song for the show. Certainly, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock wouldn't have made it more of a throwaway joke if they didn't like it.
You're definitely not the only one. In fact, it got a B+ season grade.
Aside from the Fincher aesthetic, I see nothing else about the show that makes it appear to try to be super serious. I don't think it's trying to be camp, exactly, but on the Fincher scale, it's closer in tone to Fight Club or Gone Girl, than Zodiac. I mean, I would think they would at least tone down the number of…
Well, they are revolting against him.
It may be dated, but it makes for a catchy as hell theme song.
Apparently, she had a French accent, but the producers didn't like it, so they forced her to redub the entire film.
Just be warned: UmJammer Lammy is hard as balls and your thumb will be in pain.
Canon-porn is what killed Star Trek until J.J. resurrected it.
That thought never crossed my mind. Sounds plausible, since it seems like they cast Michael Keaton for his sort of similar career trajectory as his character.
Yup, it was really intense in the theater. Unfortunately, it resulted in a bunch of found footage bandwagoneers (and inspired the imitation of some of its techniques in non-found footage movies,) but Cloverfield felt like the only film where found footage was necessary for the story. Must be a problem on console. On PC, everyone works together more often than not. But you don't even need to be a cohesive team to beat the monster if you know how to play your class, and the game in general (and if you're just hoping to bump into the monster, you don't.)
"Honest opinion" = "reviewer that agrees with my opinion on a game I haven't played"
How is this game different than any other linear, shortshort, qte infested third person shooters over the last decade? This game is doing nothing different. Just listen to yourself, you're slagging off the reviewer for criticizing a game you haven't even played.
Uh, what? You said it's not horrible, then listed a bunch of reasons why it's horrible.
Do you not understand basic geometry? Let me dumb it down for you: your TV is a thicker rectangle, and the film is shot in a thinner rectangle. That thinner rectangle obviously doesn't fit perfectly into the thicker rectangle because they are two different shapes. No one cut anything off. In fact, it sounds like you…
Uh, you do realize that Bond had a guy with metal teeth that could chew through thick metal cable right? And that's one of the less ridiculous things about Bond.
