Why can't you just DVR it off the TV?
Why can't you just DVR it off the TV?
Those are all mid-season shows that haven't even started airing. All the shows they announced were shows that started in October.
I think that because Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex Girlfriend win awards, like Golden Globes, they CW wants to keep them around. None of their other shows are winning awards like that.
None of the mid-season shows are supposed to be announced until May. iZombie doesn't even start airing until April, so they have no idea what the ratings will be after the show had such a long break.
I DVRed the episode and watched it on Saturday, so I just fast-forwarded through the commercials. If the commercials are an issue, you don't have to watch it live.
I think it's pretty common for shows to do that sort of thing, if the character is religious and thinks they're seeing something. I've seen things where Christian characters see something, and they believe it to be their God and it brings them strength or helps them get through something. I think this is the same, the…
But it also is covering a large time-frame. Bjorn was a little kid when the show started and now he's all grown up, so to advance his story and the story of his half-brother's invading the English kingdoms they needed to kill of Ragnar, because the invasion couldn't happen until his death.
I knew the legend was that King Ælla threw Ragnar into a pit of snakes, so I did expect that. I think my biggest issue going forward is that I just flat out do not like Ivar at all. I'd rather the show focus more on Björn, because Ivar is just too unlikable for me and he's obviously being set up to really be the huge…
3PO was in TFA, he had one red arm.
I first saw the Star Wars movies when I was a kid, and loved the Ewoks and I never out-grew them. I may still like them for nostalgic purposes, but I do like them.
In the past I've watched them in chronological order (as a kid only the original trilogy existed), but now I think I go in order of the Star Wars chronology so I'll probably watch them as I, II, III, Rogue One, IV, V, VI, VII, etc.. I have no idea yet about the stand-alone Han Solo movie though.
I think he did believe in the Force, and he was protector of the temple, but I don't think he was a Jedi. I actually thought he had more similarities to Matt Murdock - his blindness was an asset to him.
I think they had some Easter Eggs from other movies, and the retrieval of the plans they apparently took from THX 1138.
I also think that because the movie ended with a transition to A New Hope, they decided to go ahead and kill off the characters, because then it would be explained why they weren't with the rebellion in the original trilogy. Red 5 died in this movie, thus that call sign was open and Luke was assigned it.
I think they may want to kill off Ragnar to move the story forward more. The show has also had huge time-jumps, so all the kids are now grown up. Where else would they go from here with Ragnar?
I think Christmas is the biggest holiday, but it's often not in a religious sense because so much of it is actually still left over from the pagan Winter Solstice/Yule, and it all just got lumped into one holiday.
I almost would always rather see a character killed off, or their character written out of the show if the actor leaves. I've seen a few shows recast characters and it never works for me.
I just can't see him as the same character. I think it may have been better to just kill off the character, but then I guess they'd be Sense7 instead.
I've always liked Kala's husband, and I'm always been very neutral about Wolfgang (he's just there for me) and it seems like they're trying to bait a Kala/Wolfgang romance and it just isn't working for me. I'd rather see her have a happy marriage.
I like the show, but I don't really like it/love it and I have the same issues with the characters that I did before for the most part.
