No especially at the beginning of the season as a foil to Marnie on the whole Ray topic. The way she showed genuine care and knowledge about her close friend (even by way of his coffee preferences) was very insightful to her maturing

This felt like the first time in a while where each character felt very genuine to themselves at their conception. Jessa was offbeat and a little socially daft, but effortless: a stark contrast against her usual total self-centeredness and cruelness. Hannah felt a little childish and petty, but ultimately caring and…
I found it poignant how the shot was framed. It really felt like each girl was kind of alone. Placing them so far away from each other spatially really mirrored the revelation in the episode of how each girl had been slowly moving in different directions. Really appreciated the scene
*cough* Looking for Alaska *cough*
I wouldn't see that happening in progressive, wealthy Monterey in a case against a wealthy, young, and attractive woman.
I believe in the first episode there was a man behind the corner at Blue Blues's. I thought it was Joseph but I'm not sure. I definitely know what you're talking about though
I'd still love to see some massive red-herring turned big reveal ending. Jane recognizing Perry just wouldn't be as shocking as a crazy twist. I just sort of wanna be wowed by the finale and Perry as the rapist isn't very "wow"
Eh, who am I kidding— it'll be good either way
Mystery is all about sowing and reaping later. There would not have been the inclusion of the missing tooth if it were not to appear later. I predict there will be another bite with a tooth mark missing, pointing its way to the twins. 'Chekhov's Tooth' if you will.
This seems like an incredible theory— could you please explain it to me like I'm five though?
When he said "you're gonna kill me" I forgot how it functioned in the normal vernacular. It took me a good few moments to realize Perry was telling Celeste that she would be mad, and not that they were about to actually murder each other.
I loved it though when Madeline puked on her. For a single second Bonnie couldn't hold up the hippy-dippy shit act.
When he said that to her after they sent the babysitter home, I had shivers running down my spine. I was actually sure he was going to kill her. The writers did an amazing job and Skarsgard did phenomenal work this week (as he does every week).
To be fair, the parents have all proven to be more concerned on their appearances to each other than in the wellbeing of their children. It didn't surprise me when Nathan started defending the idea to Madeleine and Ed if not only to continue the guise of his good parenting skills. If he can sell it as something that…
I actually kind of enjoyed the reveal of the "secret project." I do agree that everything about Abigail's personality being solely based on self-centeredness, but to me the virginity auction seemed pretty perfect. It is just the right amount of "edgy" and "selfless" that fuels the ego of a narcissistic teenager who…
I was screaming at the TV "dental records!" I'm so glad someone else noticed that
Frankly though, Jessa is actually the worst. Through every season she has thrown Hannah around and had little to no regard for any person besides herself. Adam has actually reminded me of people I know in real life, those who care a lot about you but are simultaneously too emotionally vacant to understand when they…
Listen, I've been watching a lot of HBO recently, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I was so let down by this week's episode. I think we can all agree that in the pilot, This is Us set itself up to be a 'clever' show. However, what the rest of the season showed is that it's not as clever as it thinks it is. I…
I think the problem with this show is that Randall is the only character given any depth. He struggles as an adoptee, and on top of that, an adoptee of a white family where he cannot know his origin. When he finally does find his father, his days are numbered. <-that is compelling. Now compare that to Kevin's "actor…
His profile was very clear in one of the flashbacks of this episode and you can clearly see the profile of her attacker. Alexander Skarsgard and Adam Scott look nothing like what we were shown, but from what we've seen with Perry as far as violent/rape-y sex, he would be the best match
That seems like the most clear answer, but it almost seems too obvious. The evil twin trope just seems too obvious, especially with Perry being abusive. Maybe I'm just overthinking this, but it seems like there should be more mystery behind it
