The basement now also puts an extra dimension into the Crawford vs Hannibal fight. The scene ends with Crawford trapped in the pantry. Now we know there is an extra exit from there.

Is this the first time you have seen Hannibal's basement, and what surprised Beverly?
My prediction: Abigail is down there, most likely unharmed, apart from an ear.
