Killing Joke movie

Yay, maybe we'll get a Batgirl that isn't written to be an object of someone's creepy fetish

It was only hinted at in Batman Beyond, and everyone agreed it was stupid

Timm actually said it was for shock value

That was a dream, and it wasn't taken seriously.

And people hated it back then as well, but it was easier to ignore because it was just one or two mentions.

Not in the Animated Series. It was brought up in Batman Beyond just for a bit of shock value.

Tim also had his "relationship" with Superboy.

Seriously, at least go with Batman and Superman. There's a lot more healthy gay subtext there than trying to spin something from a father-son relationship. It's borderline homophobic, trying to imply that same-sex relationships have to happen between men and boys.

Very much so. Most of the books are self-contained and have their own story, prioritizing creativity over continuity. It's a lot better than Marvel in this regard, which throws all of its books at another "HEROS VS HEROS" gimmick every three months, or revamps its roster for movie rights.

He's dated/slept with/flirted with practically every woman in the DCU

The New 52 really did not need to reset its continuity. Relaunching with a set of new #1s was a great idea to make things more accessible for new readers. Muddling the continuity to make it even more confusing (what exactly happened in the past 5 years? Who was Robin? Who were the Titans? etc) was dumb. Putting crap
