I tried to remember to be online around 7-ish, but I completely forgot and now 5 hours later it's way too late. Damn.

We've had to hear that song since last year, they started out getting a huge hit in Sweden first (being swedish and all) before it hit worldwide this year. I cannot tell you how sick I am of that song.

I've been in Scotland once and I can't wait to go back. It really takes your breath away. Renting a car and driving all over is my plan for next time.

Dubrovnik is beautiful. I absolutely love it there and somehow always feel at home whenever I go. The atmosphere is perfect, the food, the old town, just everything. Definitely recommend it to anyone!

I'm going tomorrow, but to Alanya and the sunny coast. Unfortunately no historical/cultural visit this time. My goal is to see Istanbul at some point.

I honestly don't remember, but I think the TV reviews were my thing in the beginning. Didn't start commenting until a few years later, which is now almost two years ago.

Good for you! I've been waiting for my tomatoes to ripen for like three weeks, but still nothing. They're still green. It's the cocktail tomato kind. We tried oxheart last year (because we know how delicious it is), but it didn't work, seems Sweden is not the best place for tomatoes.

Damn it, I'm too late again!!!!!

With a proper teenage fan girl background (the sort where you hang out in front of their hotel) I am sort of looking forward to this album, however, knowing that I'll be cringing at the lyrics. I've heard the title track and it's quite a nice, catchy pop song. KTBPA anyone?

Thanks, I'll definitely have to see it then.

I've heard so much about this Sherlock series, but haven't been so keen on watching it. I tried to watch the Robert Downey Jr -Jude Law movie a few years ago and shut it off halfway through because of boredom. Is the british version better?

Well, there's only one guy and he's not corny, actually kind of serious and factual. They've done it very nicely, intervieweing a lot of people, explaining the context of those times when such music could become popular/big. The episodes I saw today had Spice Girls, Fugees, Garbage, Everything But The Girl, Faithless

Still keeping up with Doctor Who, now mid season 6. I know who River Song is! It's been very very good and I'm excited to see where the stories will go from here. Such a lovely cast as well, it's a joy to watch them.

Aww thanks for the reply, I don't feel so left out anymore. You have a good strategy, I'll try that next time! TI is such a nice thread and most assholes stay out of it because it's too overwhelming.

Thanks, you saved me one google search, I knew I recognized Madeline from some old sitcom!

I guess we're supposed to mention clever books here, but I have to admit that I love reading standard crime novels while on vacation. They're interesting, yet quite relaxing and enjoyable. Right now I'm reading David Baldacci's The Forgotten. This is especially relaxing for me since my normal job is in science and I

Note to self: don't bother showing up late to TI, there are 2308 comments to get through and it takes a long long time. I know, I've done it.

For me it was Backstreet Boys first, then N'Sync, but like @avclub-e57dbebc740250d2c4a370cf6ccb35f0:disqus says we all had all the albums. I remember singing to the karaoke version of either Bye Bye Bye or No Strings Attached, because I think I bought the single which also had the karaoke track on. I absolutely loved T

Hah, yeah, it seems terrible! I was looking forward to being entertained, since I'd sort of liked the previous Hangovers in an Ocean's Eleven/Twelve/Thirteen kind of way. So I guess I had my hopes up, but was crushed. Somehow nothing worked for me this time, not even the supposedly funny lines. I hope this sequel was

After coming back from an early vacation I have taken things easy since being home again. The Doctor Who watching continues and I am intent on catching up with the current run before Matt leaves. I am now on series 5 and the Weeping Angels.
