I tried watching The Five Year Engagement with my boyfriend, but we ended up turning it off halfway through, because it reminded us too much of our own situation. How did it end?

Haha man! I think at some point during my youth I managed to see this movie with my parents - cue all kinds of awkwardness. I saw it recently on TV, he's really naked a whole lot.

I liked this episode, it had some funny moments. I thought they could've handled Danny's situation with a bit more earnestness, but I guess it's a sitcom and it has to force the funny on us. I realized I don't really listen to what Ryan says in his "studio time", which is probably supposed to be some life lesson…

I agree, I thought it was a strange comment about them not discussing marriage. I wish we could've gotten to know the characters a bit more. I hope they don't get rid of Wyatt, I liked him!

Hooray for The Piano! I saw it as a kid and I thought it was scary and wonderful. And I love the soundtrack, the main theme in the movie. Also, naked sex.

It was a bland episode for me. I didn't laugh once, nor did I feel emotional in the end when Mickey suddenly turned out to be this great guy. Nothing really happened. I hope Mickey won't be around that much, he doesn't really bring anything. I liked the banter between Ted and Robin and some of the cute stuff with…

@avclub-cd3d804747cf4c11f495534083caf222:disqus I never understood the big fuss about American Beauty. I saw it and I hated it. I can't believe it won an Oscar. But then again, Shakespeare in Love won the previous year, so I guess they had different standards back then.

I'm older, but I still haven't seen most of the movies. In fact, on this top 10 list I've only seen 6. Out of Sight and 2. Pulp Fiction. In my defense, I spent most of the 90s watching Fresh Prince of Bel Air on TV.

I was also lurking for a long time even before I created an account last year. I still don't comment very often, but I also recognize the regulars. The comments are the most important feature of AV Club!
