I highly recommend starting with S1 of the new series on the episode Rose.

Very, very pleased it has returned!

One of my notifications is the sound of the TARDIS landing. It's been incredibly entertaining when out in public to see the occasional Whovian freeze and very slowly turn around….

    That would be AMAZING.

Where can these be found now that Hulu has pulled them? (Sorry if this is a stupid question that everyone else knows the answer to.)

New series fan here who has seen maybe three episodes of the classic series. HATED the sonic sunglasses.

I don't hate Clara at all. I did not care for that ending, however. Face the Raven would have been a perfect sendoff for her. I love Heaven Sent; it's just Hell Bent where it all goes off the rails for me.

Well now I have to keep the DVD service because apparently it will be the only way to get Scrubs!

Based on the review and comments, this show isn't for me. I am, however, going to take the opportunity to implore you, Caroline, to continue with Debating Doctor Who! The two of you are sorely missed!

    Agreed.

    It's free on iTunes.

    This is terribly distressing news.

I enjoyed Heaven Sent but am right there with you in disliking Hell Bent. Can't say I loved this one either.

I didn't watch this and it doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but does that third stray observation mean Debating Doctor Who is no more?! Please say it isn't so!!!!

    *sigh*…and then the finale…

I watch the reruns regularly and still find them extremely enjoyable.

See Lin-Manuel Miranda's short musical "21 Chump Street" and the episode of "This American Life" that inspired it (full disclosure: I've only heard the musical cast recording)

    This, exactly.

The one week I don't watch live and you start covering it! So glad it's getting reviewed; such a great show and an excellent episode.

I had the opposite experience. I watched the entire show on Netflix (just finished) and I cannot stand the original theme song, to the point that I would mute it and was so relieved when the new one started. I did, however, like the cover in the finale and the significance of the episode title wasn't lost on me.
