I've just finished it now, two years later. I also watched Friday Night Lights after it aired. I'd recommend watching both in your own time as I adored FNL and liked Parenthood quite a bit.

Yes. This exactly.
Probably, but I'd at least like to know why. I've seen several other comments asking the same question on other, related articles, but this is the first one I was able to find written by the same person who did the Timeless reviews.
I always thought it was weird that Amber called Ryan "buddy" when they were together romantically…
I'm not on Twitter so this is the first opportunity I've had to ask directly: will you please post a review for the season finale of Timeless? It would be greatly appreciated.
Why they chose to use new songs rather than including Human Again and others from the stage version (with one exception) is beyond me…
THANK you! This.
It works well in the stage version, not so much the film.
Just as The Beast showed he understood her when he gave her that library. That. Library. Be still my heart.
Gilmore girls remains my favorite show, but I agree that it needs to be finished now.
You are correct, and I am so glad they did not show us any version of that adorable child's dead body.
Actually…I saw a dinner theatre production where the transformation of The Beast back into a prince was so badly done that I felt it ruined everything that had come before. My family and friends all thought it was great, however, so it's possible I'm an outlier. I've seen it onstage four times and loved the other…
WHY????? (I realize you explained it in your comment; this is more an outburst of frustration.) Though at least we do get Audra singing….
Glad I checked back on the actual website because the messed up comment alert system dropped a bunch of words from your comment and basically sent me a death threat….seriously, who thought this new format was a good idea?
You are not alone.
I loved the movie but your comparison made me laugh. Well put.
This. This. A thousand times this.
Sigh….will we ever get a review of the season finale of Timeless????
I love this series but I am not at all happy they're going the graphic novel route. I really enjoyed the world-building and the descriptive language and I hate to lose that. Of course I'll buy it because I'm a completist (sigh) and attached to the characters but it's annoying. And yes, YA can be just as well written…
Or possibly telling people not to bother watching drives ratings down and leads to cancellation?
