So Fsociety is a conspiracy orchestrated by the powers that be, and Elliot is the unwitting ghost (or cog) in their machine?

This is already better than the parent show - if only because the show managed to create real characters before putting them in situations spiraling out of control.

Fans of Hannibal should check out the French film Alleluia. Try not to watch the trailer though - the psychological thriller works best when it catches you off guard.

It's nice to see that this version of the show actually has real characters.

I would have genuinely been surprised if they had taken such a predictable turn. Whatever the season's failings, it managed to convey the depth of their love for each other.

The best thing about the second season was the relationship between Vince Vaughn and Kelly Ryan.

This episode had one great scene after another.

Mandatory reading for those that want to make sense of the season's ins and out (it's also quite funny too)

By the way, if you haven't watched Outlander yet, I'd encourage you do so asap.

If your PHD is as well written and argued as your internet posts, you will be an asset to the academy.

I have too much respect for your position and intelligence to critically engage your assumptions. My main issue with your objection, though, is that you appear to treat the 'male gaze' as an analytic concept when it is empirically true and/or potentially falsifiable. I doubt the primacy or exclusivity of the male

I'm a woman too and (unfortunately) I've been trained to see the world through male eyes - hence the distorted reflections.

Look, I think the male gaze just got lost in a hall of mirrors. Or maybe some of us just don't see themselves in its reflection.

Lamest sex party ever.

Oh please, Hannibal relies on the male gaze.

Daniel wants to go back to prison - presumably because he knew his place there.

She was fantastic on Homicide: Life on the Street…and the rest of her career seems to have been a postscript to her awesomeness in that.

I second that emotion.

Clayne Crawford was thrilling in this episode, and somehow made an unrepentant asshole 'repent'(vulnerable, remorseful) in some way.
