It came up after a few arcs in the comic. Also, he had a one-shot where he met an Interview With The Vampire-styled vampire.

Holy spit. I reviewed Incognegro when it was released. And I got to meet Mat Johnson (who is really light-skinned) and Warren Pleece at NYCC. Also, I got a sketch of protagonist Zane Pinchback from Pleece.
He got a new cycle in "The Time Of The Doctor."
1. Frankie Muiz FTW.
OBSERVATION TO GLOSS OVER NITPICKS: I heard that Mike Mizanin wants to play Booster. I don't follow wrestling, but I did like his reality television "work." That said, I don't think he could carry a big screen movie. Now . . . Legends of Tomorrow? Different story. Booster never gives that big a damn, and neither does…
Punch Out parodies work well . . . here, Robot Chicken, and the bit from Tosh.0 where Daniel Tosh came out as "Dan Flamenco," with the appropriate moves and music.
It looks cold. What's the difference? I just figured maybe Moffat might loop back to "Last Christmas," which might be fitting because that's the most depressing Christmas special. "Any Christmas can be your last Christmas. Oh, and Clara's not ancient, so she's back with me."
I don't think there's such a thing as a bad Doctor. And I like the idea that we get a grump with every third incarnation.
And I'm sorry for assuming that was Mondas. Maybe they're in the Arctic. Maybe Santa and the First Doctor were having tea, and Santa looks at Twelve and say, "Great. You. Again."
I know, right?
I blame RTD for the long farewell. Only thing missing was David Tennant turning to the camera, telling the audience that he was very, very, very, VERY sorry. Also: I think Six has the stupidest death? Unless that gets retconned with more meaning, then Seven dying in a hail of gunfire would be the number one.
Seems like a stretch. It would be funny that "Power Of The Daleks" got animated and broadcast, because that was the story after "The Tenth Planet." Right now, I'm thinking that the Doctor we "know" has met his older self in an icy setting, and it's NOT Mondas.
I like to think that Paterson is bitter about getting passed over, and that's what led to the character he plays in Timeless, complete with the wardrobe for his team at the base. Also, I can see the Doctor taking the appearance of others without thinking about it (Maxil, the main guy in Pompeii), but the whining…
While I'm thinking about it . . . is it automatic that the Doctor has landed at the start of "The Tenth Planet"? My gut reaction is that this might be before or during the early years of the show, especially since One was ailing at the time of his swan song.
He calls the Doctor "Master." That would've thrown people off.
Weird thought: What if the Doctor/Capaldi regenerates into a young girl? And then the Doctor/Hartnell/Warner adopts her? I don't know much about Chib . . . Chi . . . the next guy. Would he be weird enough to try and make that happen?
Missing scene: "Honey, I may not remember becoming me, but I did recall getting a nice outfit that's laser-proof. I could only afford to have half of that done, and I did the back. Looks like I made the right call!"
Prediction for tomorrow or Christmas: The Doctor and Missy regenerate at the same time, and we end up with a weird hybrid that takes center stage next season.
I bailed out after the second movie. I look at the picture, I see Anthony Hopkins wondering if he would be judged should this be his final picture, like Raul Julia in Street Fighter.
In Bill's defense, Sara Lance has a ton of game. I think it came from her League of Assassins training, as opposed to being born with it.
