So this show is just beyond good. Does anyone have any recomendations for shows like it? (Cinematic, well written, high production values, action.) I already watched all of AV Club's top 10 shows of 2014, and it's hard to narrow down what's actually good TV and what's just popular.

I don't think there's anything more important in regards to representation than putting queer character in kids/family shows.
It dosen't really change much when the only gay and trans people on tv are in TV-MA shows.

If you're black it's your word to reclaim, But if OP is white it's racist.

This has been a really interesting show to watch get covered because it's nowhere near the quality of the DCAU or Avatar or all of the really good programming we're scrambling to compare it to, yet it HAS to be covered because it ties into the Marvel franchise. It's really entertaining in a sad kind of way trying to

I am so happy with this album. Geidi Primes/Halfaxa are near perfect albums, but takes nothing short of 50+ cumulative listens to really appreciate everything. Visions has two perfect songs, a few forgettable ones, but is mostly uneven.
This, on the other hand is incredibly accessible and just really, really fun.

The scene of him confronting his 10 year old friend who is terrified of him in the gym closet is pretty disturbing.

I want JLD so bad. But if GDT has sworn off superhero movies, and he dosen't really have his heart invested in it then what's the point?

Last Halloween, my friend told me she couldn't get through the first episode because the rape scenes were so triggering. Fuck Ryan Murphy

They're arguing again? This is great material for my latest Becca/Alex fanfic.

Somebody quote that awesome line from Scream that predates this article by 20 years. You, know the one about motive…

This show is pretty awesome to watch as someone living with depression because it's main characters can't bounce back off the traumatic things that happen to them and really change as people. The whole zombie thing is such a great metaphor for mental illness and the stigma that comes with it, and having to learn to

It'll probably be like the fire nation. Politically, it's warmongering and genocidal, but the individuals within it are good people when they aren't brainwashed.

*Sarah rises from Lazarus and kills Laurel for taking her place*
Either that or Sarah/Thea romance. Also I really hope Sarah and Hawkgirl becomes a thing later this year.

This could be so cool… Leigon could be very interesting, especially with an unreliable narrator, like Mr.Robot. And Hellfire club, a series about a high class secret society of people with superpowers with lots of sex and backstabbing and fighting for control of the mutant underworld…don't trank this up Fox.

Several actors contracts will expire. Several will want to leave the franchise. Hopefully this means some actual character deaths.

Any speculation for what the 3 unnamed movies will be?

"Haha this is so stupid I hate Great Job, internet"
*looks mashup up on soundcloud*
*listens to it on repeat*

Daredevil proved that
A: Superhero shows can be like 10-hour long movies- not episodic, which vary in quality.
B: You can make a superhero story interesting with practical effects and stunts rather than reliance on shoddy CGI.
C: Superhero

How come the A.V. Club hasn't reviewed Fetty Wap's self-titled album? It's seriously great.

Steven Universe was never the show about beating the bad guys by stabbing them a lot. Garnet overcame Jasper with the power of love. Steven stopped Lapis from destroying the ocean with kindness. And now once again, Steven is using compassion to defeat another villain.
