This film is the very definition of overrated.

There's still time!

Do you mind clarifying? Are you saying that if this results in fewer men being in situations where they'll be more likely to be in a situation that results in rape accusations (falsely or not), hey good enough?

Yeah, I don't see it happening either. I'm surprised a prosecutor actually brought this to trial in the first place.

You put this better than I could.

I hope she's better suited for those other jobs. She's not a bad writer, and she's definitely an intelligent woman, but she seemed sheltered and she didn't have the life experiences or media consumption that should be required for a job as a pop culture critic.

I think the only way to achieve the goal of stopping women from being drugged and/or raped by predatory men is by learning that women are actual people. I honestly think the vast majority of people across all the social spectrum don't.

Call me whatever iteration of an SJW you want, but I don't think a lecture like this should exist.

Isn't he dead for good now?

If I were dismissive of your feelings I probably wouldn't have questioned you about them.

I'm fine standing, thanks.

I'm sorry, but how would you know that?

This in no way surprises me. Not even slightly.

Why? The only reason his professional achievements intersect with his crimes is that they gave him easy access to victims. They in no other way have anything to do with each other. It's not like there's a Mark Twain prize for drugging and raping women.

Especially if you're a middle aged Korean lady.

And a new group of elderly men have their grandchildren explain to them what the Streisand Effect is.

I don't mean to be patronizing, but I feel bad for Sonia Saraiya. She didn't have the pop culture wherewithal to write authoritatively on any subject here, and dear God was her lack of knowledge obvious. I don't understand how she even got a job for this site. It's like she was set up to fail.

I think I was in the wrong frame of mind or wrong environment for this movie. All I could think of was how incredibly boring the whole film was.

They broke the law, he sued them for it, and he won. So what are we saying here? What "should" have happened?
