anti intelligence undercurrent

Just get a vaporizer and exhale into the blanket while at your seat. That's what I do!

She's already confessed to that, so it was unspoken.

I don't think she's going to pay for the procedure. She just wants to suss out the bullshit.

That woman looked so familiar to me but I can't place her.

It's never been mentioned before. I think it was chosen because of its distance to St. Louis and its ominous name. It sounds like a euphemism for apocalypse.

It's the Wu Tang Band! She's a big fan!

OH SNAP

The Lily being returned to Christine thing is just silly. I understand that it wasn't court ordered and Nora allowed it, but who would do that? Come on now. The writers just felt shackled by Lily and needed Nora to be in a position to take crazy and possibly dangerous chances.

He can't. He knows the centre's orders are to recruit Paige and they can't be argued with. Telling Elizabeth would be like refusing orders.

I think the silliest aspect of the wheat storyline is that they jumped to the sabotage conclusion so immediately. My first thought when I saw the bugs was that a company was testing pest resistance. Why would at least three adults not think of that possibly? I find it just poor writing.

I assume the only set of dark-skinned twins of the appropriate age available were black. It's kind of weird that they figured no one would pick up on that, but I also assume the creators of this show have never met a black person.

That was shockingly boring.

It was a Sia song and shut your mouth about it being shitty.

You have a great point. I'm eternally grateful none of the stupid libfem crap I used to espouse is a permanent part of my personal image simply because I'm not famous and social media wasn't around when I believed the same shit Lena Dunham believes.

I am wondering if they cast a half-Asian, half-white man as Shoshanna's fiancé for a reason. Is he symbolism for Shoshanna's inability to fully intergrate in Japan and her desire to reject American boorishness?

I can kind of understand it in this show. Those products still exist, and it's not like they're doing anything actually productive to survive the long term. The show where that bothered me the most was Lost and now currently, The Walking Dead. They really don't do the makeup thing so much on TWD, but all women are

One tired sitcom cliche that really annoys me is the stupid concept that just because one can't connect to some rando child you've never met one fears he or she will be a bad parent. Is this a thing in real life? Because I gotta say I've never met a single person who's shared that absurd concern. Are there really

Well I'm sure Obama has goons, but I doubt he himself is a goon.

John McCain is probably my favorite politician who I'd never vote for. I have a lot of respect for him, and I always think about how different our world would be had he won the Republican primary for the 2000 election instead of Bush. 9/11 may have been handled with far more grace, and Bush would have settled into a
