Exactly - so sick and tired of people pretending to be outraged or offended by scenes in works of fiction. Eventually all of these beautiful, creative minds will be silenced and unable to express themselves because anything and everything will be deemed insulting, offensive, or "shaming" to somebody or something.

In my version Pratt ended up jettisoning JLaw into space and then in the next scene we saw him waking up some other chick. My friend said that was kind of dark but probably in keeping with the nature of my personality.

Agree - I was hoping for more of a twist but I still enjoyed the movie. And I also noticed people discussing it in the theater, something that never happens when it's one of the endless bile fests rolled out by Marvel….

Oh FFS it's not even close to date rape. What an absurd thing to say.

Do you make a habit of lifting "clever observations" directly from movie reviews and then claiming them as your own?

Much like every other time when something like this happens, I believe only a very small number of people are genuinely offended. The majority merely "act offended" in order to put shit on another human being and act as if they are so much better than "a person who would say such a thing". Technology in the form of

Upvoted for enjoying the rant. Merry Christmas to you too!

Haha yeah sorry - I was a tad aggressive in my previous comment. I've noticed with other shows that people get caught up on the grades and I've never understood why. For me it just comes down to either liking an episode / TV series or disliking it.

Seriously, who gives a sh*t about the grades? It's such a personal thing that it bears no weight at all. With any of the reviews on AV Club I just gloss over the grade and think…"pfft, whatever…."

It can sound a bit arrogant - if that's the correct word - but to me this show is a gift, and I've only shared it with two people I know. Both enjoy it as much as I do. As for the rest of them - "no soup for you!"

Me three

I agree with some of your comments. For me this was my least favourite of the four seasons. But I still loved this series way, way more than almost anything I've ever watched on TV. So I am content with how this show ended - especially since I had some concerns about how they were going to wrap things up. I think

Exactly - there is so much crap that comes out of American television and film studios. This was the diamond in the mountain of rocks. In much the same way as it explains why viewer numbers were very low. All those oxygen stealing carbon blobs sitting around glued to their smart phones with beads of spittle dangling

"Hey Tsunami, can we talk to you?"

Has anybody else considered the possibility that Daniel might kill himself? I know he is taking steps towards fixing himself, etc - but watching him on the bed in that final scene, listening to himself describe the gang rape in prison, etc - I was struck by the thought that he seems so unconvinced that it's going to

I concur!

As do Surly Japanese Warriors….

I have a designated eye roll and sarcastic laugh. Which I employ frequently when watching this show….

Agree - I think this was the best episode of what was a terrible season (or half season). And Negan was definitely more credible as a villain. Less facial hair and less of the ridiculous leaning backwards thing.

Could you consider the possibility that Ford simply didn't want to go on because he's an old man and he's had enough? I know people (my parents for example) who have told me that when you are "old" you don't value "continuing to live" as much as you do when you're "young". I put it in quotes because it's subjective,
