I'm waiting for the Randy Rainbow song parody.

It closed faster than the musical version.

"It's not a circus, it's not quite a show,
but the actors all dance with the crowd…

I just finished reading the new Midnighter and Apollo collection. Apollo is captured by a demon and Midnighter travels to hell to save him. The artwork is lovely but the writing is generic. The heroes feel like variations on Wolverine and Superman rather than unique individuals. The hell setting is an excuse for

I saw the live broadcast of Angels in America part 2 from the National Theatre in London. Russell Tovey and Andrew Garfield were strong and Nathan Lane was fantastic as Roy Cohn. The play has aged very well.

The Tony Awards play a big part. These days if a musical doesn't win a Tony in June for best musical or best actor it tends to close by August.

Until the sequel where he comes back… but only if you do all the sub quests.

Now I want Tidus to sing the Dream Ghost song from Crazy Ex Girlfriend to Yuna.

"a master class in how to be a sweaty character actor"

Archie's Kevin Keller comics keep trying to push boundaries though I don't know how many youth are reading them. Kevin and his various boyfriends tend to lack personality as he's become the sort of "every man" that Archie himself can be, but they've faced various hot button issues like a protest from "one million

The writing was so inconsistent. The larger plot arcs were ambitious but the smaller character moments were messy. I got Joker fatigue fast and wish they'd been willing to develop any of the other dozen villains. The Arkham Knight DLC gave a few some growth but I wanted more from the main campaign.

I never did quite figure out how the gate puzzles worked. I drew a map and planned a strategy but the "rules" felt inconsistent. I ended up relying on trial and error.

I saw the live Broadcast of this production last night and was very impressed. Garfield's Prior seemed affected at first but he grew on me. Lane's Cohn was glorious. He played Cohn's physical decline to a degree I haven't seen an actor attempt while remaining fiercely defiant till the end and after.

I saw the National Theatre's broadcast of Angels in America Part 2 last night. I'm posting here in case anyone else goes searching for old conversations. The heaven scene underwhelms me but the overall theme seems to be the limits of forgiveness. Everyone in the play wants compassion but only Harper, Belize and Prior

I love it when JRPG's give you sidequests related to each party member. Final Fantasy 7 and Shadow Hearts 2 are the best examples that spring to mind. Bioware would ramp this up in their WRPG's. Fran and Balthier are charming but feel woefully underdeveloped by the end of the game. They both meet old acquaintances

I prefer the Kingdom Hearts games with Disney characters and exploration (1, 2, BBS). I find the Nintendo handheld games minimize both, focusing on the dull original characters and the repetitive combat.

Dabbled in some old games on my 3DS and hit the walls of fake difficulty. Such challenges include:

I was cool with Aveline and Varic. Everyone else would be better off apart from each other.

I fully support this thrupple.

Also I never used guns so I didn't make time to finish Shinya or Iwai's tracks. They seemed to have potential.
