Emotion: Side B took a little time to grow on me (the most striking thing about it to me was the sameness of its songs in terms of lyrical content) but I like it a lot now; it's got to be my second-favorite Canadian synthpop record of the year. I assume you don't love Carly because something is wrong with you.

I mostly just watched a lot of football on Saturday and did homework on Sunday. This week wasn't bad; I spent more time watching Colorado-Michigan than was ultimately justifiable, but watching Iowa lose to North Dakota State in utterly predictable fashion was kind of fun, and I don't have anything against Florida

Kings was really good!

If I have figured out Newfoundland time correctly (I have not) it is Stephen's birthday now. I don't know how old he is but he's really old so he probably doesn't want us to know the exact number.

I mean, that's what I mean. There's no weird metaphorical exploding apple.

I just watched the first episode of Atlanta, and I find it interesting that it's not just very funny, but it's funny in the same way that Community is: dialogue, not punchlines.

It's really not hard to understand at all! I think baseball is significantly more complex.

oh my

The Cantor pairing function is super cool, right? I think it's super cool.

I’ve been idly sort of skimming through War and Peace, because why not? I’ve read it twice, but once was when I was 10 and the other when I was 13 so I didn’t understand and don’t remember all that much. It’s interesting to see vaguely familiar names from a period of history that interested me long ago pop up

oooooooo I love Canadian music

Sure enough, I love Store now.

mmmmmmmmm this is good

yay I like the O's

You could be a plumber, Troy! You could be a plumber.

humid, diverse, urbane, congested, humid

I like what Store is doing but it's so weird that I'm not sure I'm there yet.

Exciting! This is the first time I've lived in a city.
