I know what you mean. Several months ago I saw a kid I played baseball and football with in high school who was a year above me was engaged. I haven't seen him since high school and I'm almost certainly never going to see him again, but it was the sort of thing that made me think for a little bit.

She'll be by far the youngest member of the squad (at 16, she's in her first year of top-level competition) and she's a lot of fun to watch and I think NBC will take notice of her in their Olympics coverage this year.
Well, I hope it happens so that these Olympics aren't a foregone conclusion.

Anymore? British polls have been garbage forever; the only way they get even remotely plausible numbers for general elections is by massaging them to death, and you couldn't do that with this election, not knowing anything about turnout or demographics or support patterns.
