Technically, Norman won 2 British Open championships. He also had a number of 2nd place finishes at the other majors that made him serious bank and endeared him as the perennial bride's maid that everyone was rooting for. It didn't hurt either that he was the highest ranked golfer in the world for a ridiculous number

It pisses me off because Jesus was clearly not a zombie… he was a lich! :-)

It's not an argument - it's a fact. Case closed.

That's actually a pretty interesting interpretation of The Exorcist. To be honest, it always confused me why the demon decided to jump from Regan to Karras so readily at the end of the film.

What's exceptionally scary is the idea that a demon has taken over an innocent child's mind and body and the mother has absolutely zero ability to help her daughter. It's a desperate situation that calls for desperate measures — one being a crazy, archaic religious ritual that is supposed to somehow rid the afflicted

I view horror as a large umbrella that has multiple genres underneath. Having said that, I think The Thing is equal parts science fiction, horror, and suspense. So perhaps it fits under multiple umbrellas.

There's nothing to do but wait. Regardless of whether either of them is not who they say they are the cold Arctic wasteland is as much their enemy as

This is, hands down, the greatest horror movie ever. That is all.

Horrifying on every level.

Man, Martin Short did a great job impersonating Doug Henning. lol…

I'm with you. 28 Weeks Later is unjustly maligned and I've yet to hear a coherent response articulate how it's somehow a completely inferior film to its predecessor.

Drowning is terrifying — but being eaten alive by a great white shark? Yeah, I think I'd rather drown.

I guess you only know one song from the 80s?!

He admitted as much.

Guinness was positively awful the first 3-4 I imbibed. It's since become my go to beer when there's no interesting craft beers available at the bar.

In my experience it's definitely the opposite. The beer swilling crowd I hang out with pretty much scoffs at anything that isn't an IPA. In their estimation, the hoppier the better.

Yeah, it's not a 10. Yeesh.

Well, there's always Gwyneth Paltrow…

They're worth listening to if they bring some valid criticism to the table. Which, to be fair, some has been provided in this thread.

Did he know that David was going to vote for Lucy? David seemed kind of waffly (that is a word, no?) back at camp so Ken may have assumed David was going to follow group-think and vote out Jessica.
