Yeah but Hannibal was a niche show with a fan group who were desperate to keep the show going, they aren't going to heavily criticise fan abuse. If Gimple goes this way - and I really do think he will - the backlash is gonna be massive.

I wonder what the odds are that the Season Seven premiere will be solely the resolution to the Carol and Morgan story with absolutely no resolution to the "who's dead". Just like the Glen "death" was followed up with the Morgan flashback.

There was a lot of the fun of Monday's episode of The Flash in this outing but without the weak and saccharine resolution of the Supergirl writers room.

They're just waiting for the stadium full of drummers when they slide together.

And that's the difference between a good comic book adaptation and this pile of keech.

Until it stops being terrible or they guarantee no more crossovers with better shows so I don't need to watch it.

Flarrowverse is being held back by the DC Cinematic Universe and will probably hurt because of it. In Season 2, Arrow did Suicide Squad and it was a great episode but then DC told them to hold back.

The irony was Cat's line about The CW yet James Olson is everything that line represents.

I think Pedowitz would have preferred a UCB advert too.

To be fair, an empty screen would be the best episode of Supergirl ever.

Hahaha. That is so close to spot on for The Flash that it shows just what an awesome job the writers do with the character to make the show as good as it is.

It's a matter of degree and expectation. The 15th episode is the worst so from that point of view, it's true.

Unfortunately, Shannara is already renewed. Ratings wise it was relatively successful for MTV. However it was not nearly as successful as they wanted so there are likely to be budget cuts. Given how cheap S1 appeared on screen (while clearly actually costing lots) then S2 is going to be… interesting. I don't

The difference is that Shannara is designed badly, so individual episodes can be pretty bad but not necessarily badly written. They aren't well written but its the design choices that really hurt it and even at its worst, you can tell some people are trying.

Episode S01E15 Solitude is almost certainly the worst single episode of television I've seen in the last decade. And I watched the entire season of Chronicles of Shannara.

I think you will find your enjoyment of this episode was much more about The Flash and some influence from the Flash writers room than it was from any improvement in the quality of Supergirl as a show.

It depends how you define "for kids".

The Silver Banshee outfit would have been less ridiculous if it had consisted a a green foam finger and a leprechaun hat.

It made me laugh, pretty hard.

The reaction from Benoist to the Ice Cream was probably her best moment in the entire Season.
