For a very quick second, I read that as "Carla Gugino plays Kate Hudson".

Bi-weekly curious.

It's the non-parody reboot of Hot Shots! Part Deux.

Oh, nice going with the Dostotevsky comedy mention. I hadn't thought of it like that, but it's a perfect way to describe the film, it really fits.

I know I'm an exception, but this is very much a top 3 Scorsese film for me.

Almodovar's Lonely Bad Education Fans Club Band?

I have this is the kind of show that branch would pay close attention to. Knowing that the choreographer has a history with them, even more so, I think.

I'm trying to think of another word other than bleak, because it really isn't a defeatist film. There is real humanity in this film.

I liked Bad Education, but it suffers a bit like most of his post-"Mother" films of trying to be a more polished and sophisticated version of his more vivacious and provocative early films. I think it's probably one of the best late Almodovars, along with The Skin I Live In (probably my favorite of this period). I

No offense to the other articles's writers, but this was easily the most justified of them all. It's kinda sad actually that Emmy voting isn't going on anymore, as Bunheads in choreography is something that very much should happen, and Reisler makes a good case for the show by pointing to its use of dance as vital to

I love All About My Mother (last truly great Almodovar for me - even though I think he has some solid, even really good films afterwards), but Rosetta is my absolute favorite Dardennes film. I remember watching it before the slew of films heavily inspired by it started showing up, and in a period I was just starting

Gave it a B+ mostly because of Mikkelsen. It would've been a B or B- without his performance. That he was really great in it, and I usually don't respond to performances so much more than the film itself as I did with that one really impressed me.

Hahahaha, you said "penal", bro.

Pitt is kind of a character actor trapped in a leading man's body, so I'm never surprised when he is good in films that aren't.

I'm particularly surprised to see singled out THAT Theron performance. She is so, so bad in it, and I actually appreciate Pacino's campiness in the film more than her. If you're gonna choose a good Theron performance in a shitty film, it should be Prometheus or Snow White and Huntsman, where she gets to indulge fully

I agree he was an excellent casting decision, but he had a terrible script and a bland character arc. No matter how hard he tried, he isn't great in it. He is merely ok. Unfortunate though that merely ok actually got him to be the best movie Batman up to that point, even though the actual film was terrible.

HE FELL RIGHT IN HER VAGENDA!

I decided to read this review in a british accent. Quite entertaining indeed.

I'm gonna pop some covers, I got 20 dollars in my pocket.

Is this for Reelz?
