Gave it a B+ mostly because of Mikkelsen. It would've been a B or B- without his performance. That he was really great in it, and I usually don't respond to performances so much more than the film itself as I did with that one really impressed me.

I agree he was an excellent casting decision, but he had a terrible script and a bland character arc. No matter how hard he tried, he isn't great in it. He is merely ok. Unfortunate though that merely ok actually got him to be the best movie Batman up to that point, even though the actual film was terrible.
