You are aware that just because they started a relationship over a catalog or website, doesn't mean that it gives the man some immunity to treat her poorly, right? Nor does it take the free will away from the woman, except in specific cases…

Honestly though, aside from the fact that this would be a terrible bullseye, why is this a bad idea? So many families come from mail order brides and I have no idea if the show would have sucked or not, but if it was written well, what would be the problem?
