Agree agree agree with everything you wrote.

Thanks for pointing that out. I love him.

Richard Mazur! I thought I recognized him. Haven't seen him in a long time. Good role for him. Although the "I'll have to eat you" was creepy. What is with Darren star and all this creepiness? Sodomy with sheep and threats of eating and people killed by falling metal objects? I wish for SATC.

I like the reverse May-December relationship assuming all parties know the truth of their ages. I hope Josh and Liza continue as a couple.

I don't really care about what happens in the book since these threads are about the tv show. But thanks for the info. Would it be a good book for my book club to read?

Josh had a right to be shocked that he never knew the real Liza all this time. but I think he would be more intrigued with why she lied and what about the real Liza made him attracted to her. It is a compelling. I thought it was wierd when he sighed mightily when she mentioned she was divorced as if that would

I also have to stop thinking about it too much and just sit back and enjoy the show. It isn't so much that she doesn't look 26 in the face especially since she has a great figure, and is dressing and wears her hair long like 20 somethings do. It is all her past I don't understand. The writers of the show haven't

I agree with you Alexa on the need for diversity. All they have featured is the super model Maggie wanted to have sex with. It has to be done right. Not like JHud in the SATC first movie which was nauseating.

Hard to say. If you liked SATC, you probably will because it is the same writer but very different. If you liked Gilmore Girls you might too because it has a ton of women. If you liked Bunheads then you might because Sutton Foster stars.

didn't like it; not up to the standards of the earlier episodes. too serious with all the drama with the Ellen book. Not sure how she knew this woman who was blackmailing her. I thought Liza said she knew her from waitressing or was that just to throw Kelsey off the track? Totally unrealistic that Josh would come

I think that may be a good way to end this first season. Daughter surprises mom coming home early and she lives with her and Maggie but how do they explain her? Kid sister? Does she agree to keep the lie rolling?

I too adore Diana. All the characters are great but she is so real to me. Caught between the heady power of her being head of marketing and yet she has a believable lack of confidence in retaining her position given all the young go getters working for her. Hope she and the boss guy get together.

Not my favorite episode but nevertheless decent. I thought it odd that the fraud author walked out on her class of kids. thought it odd that Josh would get a tatoo of Liza's chinese year sign when that could apply to many people he knows born in the prescribed years. Nothing unique about Liza. Don't get it except

I think Liza can pass for 26 by the way she dresses and her hair and figure. But her vocal tone and speech is all 40 in my opinion. She has way too a mature, "lived some life" voice and choice of words and phrasing that belie her youthful looks. a couple of times the script has focused on others seeing that aspect

I agree. this show does more in 20 minutes than any other half hour show in television past and present. I like Josh but I see her more with the divorced publishing guy and she would make a great step mom to his daughters.

I think this was my favorite episode yet. I love all of them but sometimes the generational stuff doesn't ring true. (although I did notice how her book club friend asked what a pdf was which isn't that unusual if maybe she doesn't work outside the home.) I wish they would explain more how Liza and Debi Mazar
