Also, the "Beverly Something" joke is related to the character's Creed-esque history, which was referenced in another episode, so I don't think the problem, AV Club, is that the show isn't developed enough, but that you are simply not watching it???????

    "Doesn't possess a central relationship"? Uhhhh…… What???

….???? Why would New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine take precedence over Mindy?

    Pray tell, why?

I don't think this is the case at all—I think breaking them up so early is to get the elephant in the room (their flaws and fears) out of the way so they could have a sustainable long-term relationship moving forward.

I don't think they every really got to deal with the "boring relationship problems" because they were only in a relationship for one whole episode.

This is fun!!!!! I'm happy that we're having this conversation because — you know, Jamie and I are not trolls, we are good people who love TV and love this show so much (but not blindly). I hope this conversation makes it clear that both of us aren't mean-spirited and that we both care about this show and appreciate

I think I actually stand in the minority that if anything happened too quickly for me, it was Danny sort of demanding sex from the girl of his dreams. I mean, obviously he's a dude and he loves her, etc, but he's been waiting six months to make out with her and he can't wait a week before wanting to bang her? But

How do you think they should have handled it? (This is a real question, not snarky, it's very hard to convey my tone without emojis) (But please tell me you're not one of the people that hated Dr. Danny. Poor guy is always misunderstood).

AV Club reviewers state that the grades really don't mean much at all and there's always a lot of talk about how some reviewers don't like to grade because they feel like it's more arbitrary than people let on.

(Not to mention one of the biggest WTF AV Club moments EVER, when You've Got Sext was given a B- based solely on 'Aw, man, is this a will-they-won't-they story?' and not really on the episode itself. Of COURSE Mindy and Danny are that way—they have always been—and because TMP follows will-they-won't-they like other

    Homestar Runner?!?!?

I think the problem with the reviews is that, if you're going to respect Mindy/Danny as a couple, you need to be a little bit more patient with the storyline instead of giving the episode where they break up a C- because "you weren't expecting it." That's what I think Jamie is trying to say. For Mindy/Danny's longterm

"All over the place this season"? OK, AV Club.
