When the comments section is that saturated with assholes, it's time to just shut down the comments section.

Seriously, somebody needs to make this happen, but in reality nobody will probably want to risk their money on it. I really enjoyed The Dance of Reality, though.

I saw the ending of Breaking the Waves as sort of hopeful. Besides Von Trier doesn't have to make his version hopeful. Anyone who remakes a film should change the script drastically to justify the whole exercise. For what not to do with a remake, look at Poltergeist.

I just had a seizure reading this.

What part did he freak out about? The monkey holding his own feces?

I don't know why anyone would ever want to work on those kinds of big games as a profession. Everything I've heard has indicated that working for those huge companies sucks (long hours, low pay, etc.) which is why so many big names are jumping ship to start their own indie thing.

I saw The Mars Volta live 3 times and John Frusciante showed up to play with them at each one.

Maybe this doesn't count because they are friends and Flea and John Frusciante have played on their records but I know The Mars Volta looked up to them a lot. I'm not really sure if they actually enjoyed their music or not. It doesn't really seem like the kind of thing they would listen to and I don't really hear

This reminds me of the time I tried a medical marijuana candy bar and tried to watch Blacula. I slowly realized I wasn't understanding anything that was happening so I shut it off and fell asleep.

I got through it but just barely.

There's a 60 minute version? I had no idea.

For me, it is pretty much any survival horror game. They are way too stressful. I can watch other people play them ok, just as long as they don't give me the controller.

My mom was in an episode about bank robbers. She was robbed a whole bunch of times when she worked as a teller. I wish I could find a clip from it somewhere. I'm pretty sure it was from either the first or second season. I used to love scaring myself by watching that show as a kid.

I'll definitely give you Gone With the Wind but Jurassic Park is not a great book. It's a cheap pulp genre novel. I also wouldn't call it a great movie either. The best I could say about it is that it's fun with effective special effects for the time. I've never read Rosemary's Baby so you might be right about

Exactly! Hitchcock was the best at taking these kinds of books and working wonders with them.

I didn't know about that one. I'll have to check it out!

You don't need a US-region Blu-Ray player, you need a modded multi-region Blu-Ray player, which can be bought on eBay. You might even be able to find one locally where you live at a specialty shop. I'm a big importer (I'm actually watching my UK Blu-Ray version of Nosferatu by Masters of Cinema tonight.) If you are

Maybe true but it is still considered a classic by a lot of people. It's definitely more worthy to be in the literature canon than the other books I mentioned.

You're probably right on that one… The novel still isn't very good though.

Actually, if you want to see a complete list of their exclusives, here you go:
