I think they have like maybe half the discs plus like 300 more obscure, but still interesting films that never received a disc release. For example, they have A Woman of Paris, The Circus and The Kid, all by Chaplin, and none of them have gotten a disc release as of yet.

Also, I don't think every Criterion disc is on Hulu although I may be wrong.

If you live in the U.S. wait like 2-3 weeks. It'll be on sale at Barnes & Noble for 50% off at their biannual Criterion sale.

I have a theory that most great films that are based on an existing property were usually pretty mediocre in their original format, like The Godfather or 2001 for example. I can't really think of any great films based on classic books that turned out to be great as well unless they were changed pretty drastically,

To be fair, the New Bev's seats have gotten much better over the last few years. When I first started going there, they were falling apart and they have gotten new ones since then and the differences are pretty much night and day.

Fans should make these and wear them to the premier.

I agree 100%. These fast food places are desperate for the fast casual crowd but don't want to actually do anything to earn them as customers. Del Taco did something similar by changing their buildings color schemes and losing all the lame terminology on their menu like Macho, X-treme, etc. and replacing it with

Everything you said made me cringe. God… no wonder they are failing. I haven't been to one in a long time, but after reading this, I certainly never will again.

To me, it takes more than just being intelligent in a single field to be an intellectual. I work in a laboratory setting with some very knowledgeable people (doctors, Clinical Lab Scientists, etc.) but I would be hard-pressed to label any of them intellectuals. Like most people they're more interested in their

You know, it must feel great to be them. I'm so jaded that I sometimes can't handle how jaded I am.

I think I had a seizure about halfway through that.

It's too bad. You too, could have 2 million dollars like this Tyler Oakley.

I don't pay any attention to reality shows but have any of those celebrities raised that much for any single cause? I kind of doubt it.

These people are considered intellectuals? I haven't seen the show but geek culture is still pretty lowbrow. Let's not get these folks mixed up with Vidal and Buckley.

I feel like it could have been better if it had female vocals, like maybe the singer from Escort or something. Pharell has no power in his voice and the song needs it.

I could argue that music that doesn't apply to pop conventions can be longer because there isn't really an expectancy about length when you are going to listen to something like that. The example I am thinking of is some of the more recent records by Swans (because some of their tracks are upwards of 30 minutes.)

I've been listening to him since the beginning but when I go to listen to his older records (especially College Dropout), they seem way too long now. I don't understand why a hip hop ever need be longer than 50 minutes.

C'mon, we're all adults here. I'm pretty sure none of us are wearing underwear.

I too am affected in this way, deeply.

"Oh, Fay, this is so scrumptious. Is this hand-shucked?""Leo, I see salt and pepper… Is there a salt subsitute?"
