Then you guys get to be jealous of me. I've got on my iPod - unlistened to!!!! I get to hear it for the first time! Was just waiting for the right time to listen to the Pilot Projects, normally I don't care if I'm not devoting full attention to a podcast, but Andy deserves better.

And don't forget his occasional role as the high school principal on Modern Family!

Guilty as charged.

Larry Clark's work before, during, and since Kids embodies the word "problematic". Or, for all you who call that term cowardly, Clark is a sick dude. His photographic and film work is not without art or value, but he sure loves to see young teens fuck.

It's cool of Shatner to retain his Canadian citizenship, unlike certain douches who drop it as soon as they're able. I'm looking at you, Paul Anka!

Americans are suffering right now not being able to watch Bruce McCullough's sit-com, "Young Drunk Punk". Recently finished it's first season on Canadian TV, people are hoping for a second season, and if you Yanks are lucky, somebody in the US will pick it up soon. Awesome television show - kind of like a Canadian

Yeah, those people are absolutely the most American of any Canadians, no joke.

Hi Grave Babies. Congratulations on the worst band name I've ever heard.

Seconded on that. Lynda Carter was awesome, of course, but I was an Isis fan. I still feel the same way I did when I was 5 - is there anyone in the world prettier than Joanna Cameron? Lawyer wife? He's just full of surprises, isn't he?

I read the story without glancing at the writer's byline, but when I was done, I sighed and thought, "I'm so glad O'Neal is back."

When I saw on Twitter that he passed away, I thought, "I look forward to the AV Club coverage on his life." But this goes above and beyond. As always, good stuff, Will!

I'm happy to live in a world where someone somewhere is willing to have Mark's face etched permanently on his body.

What the fuck?

There is at least a new Grasshopper book out that I have to check out.

I loved the Romita Jr./Layton art - so much cool equipment and so many shiny new armors! Never thought much of Romita Jr. with other inkers, but Layton suffered greatly on his own too. Like Byrne/Austin, they did their best work as a team.

Marvel Premieres #47 and 48, two of the favorite comics of my youth. I presume David Michelinie is long-forgotten, but he was my fave comics writer - his stint on Iron Man was stellar; great humour as well as humanity in his work. And I later grew tired of John Byrne, but as a big X-Men fan at the time, those two Ant

Geez, he was being facetious about that part of it. It's not like he's accusing the band of ripping off the show.

Yeah. . . but which came first? In the mid-'80s, I saw a Vancouver band by the same name open for The Fall (not the Tarsem Singh movie…).
