Honestly, del Toro's non-involvement has me more interested in it than if he was directing it. I like the idea of monsters and robots fighting, but I wasn't too hot on the first one. But I'll probably just end up watching this on Netflix or borrowing it from the library no matter what.

I have a lot of enthusiasm for Hellboy 2.0. I like the del Toro films okay, but this combination of talent, plus the participation of Mike Mignola in the scripting process, has me way more excited for this film then a potential Hellboy 3 from the people that made the first two.
