I'd also like to add that I don't think that the attitude of any of the vindictive songs is the healthiest, but they can still be fun to listen to.

I agree, it's not like the lyrics need to rely on cheap shots to be vindictive. I think "Gives You Hell" and "Friends in Low Places" are great examples of songs that have the same "I hate you but I don't get mad, I get even" attitude, but aren't degrading to the other person.
